The Sustainable Delivery Solution
The 92,000 foot office, laboratory and clinical hub was to undergo a super-high specification fit out, which demanded strict site logistics management. As the project kicked off in the summer of 2020, additional concerns surrounding Covid-safe working practices were also of paramount importance.
To assist with this, we provided our contactless, facial-recognition pods with temperature screening technology, to monitor operatives and team members as they entered site.
Alongside ensuring the site remained safe from a Covid compliant perspective, our solution had to deliver strong green credentials, in line with GRAHAM IFO'S challenging net zero carbon targets.
It was critical for our clients to know exactly what deliveries were scheduled on a day to day basis in order to maintain a safe operation. With this in mind we recommended using our online delivery management platform. The cloud based system provides 100% visibility over all deliveries, eradicating the potential for over booking.
Our intuitive software allows users to schedule deliveries online by capturing key data, including delivery time, location, haulage vehicle type, vehicle registration, delivery items and unloading methods required for the delivery. This information allows site logistics to operate more efficiently by ensuring that contractors are compliant and aware of exactly what is required once the delivery arrived on site.
With carbon monitoring at the very top of GRAHAM IFO's agenda, our system allowed our client to calculate the Co2 output for deliveries via a user-friendly report, supported by a suite of additional reports focused on all aspects of their delivery management.
