Introduction
Although the VIS Systems Ltd does not meet the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 that would legally require the company to produce a slavery and human trafficking statement, we recognise the importance of preventing modern slavery. Therefore, we have voluntarily produced an annual slavery and human trafficking statement.
The purpose of this statement is to confirm that VIS Systems Ltd have taken reasonable steps to ensure our continued compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to providing employment equal opportunities which are non-discriminatory, support living wage legislation, and offer working hours and working conditions that are safe and hygienic.
We have effective systems, controls and procedures in place to ensure that there human trafficking and modern slavery is not taking place within own company or in any of our supply chains.

VIS Systems Ltd is a market leading monitoring company that brings Vision, Intelligence and Safety to Construction Sites via workforce monitoring, access control and innovative solutions. We employ circa 50 employees with various nationalities, operating directly from the Northwest of England, providing services nationwide.
Due Diligence
VIS Systems Ltd, depend and rely on supply chains to ensure excellent service delivery, and we ensure that each supplier we have a relationship with can demonstrate their own compliance with The Modern Slavery Act 2015, and we ensure this by following the companies supplier due diligence process, which Is not only carried out at the onboarding stage, but it also conducted on an annual basis.
As a recognised company in the Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) VIS Systems Ltd Is required to ensure that all employees are vetted in accordance with BS7858:19, The British Standard for the security of individuals working in a secure environment. All employees have identity and Right to Work checks, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and employment reference checks carried out in line with this standard. Depending on the specific requirements of our clients, we may also complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks on individuals. The company carries out initial identification and right to work checks in line with the relevant legislation and in accordance with UK Government guidelines, and the companies third party vetting provided carries out screening and vetting in accordance with relevant legislation and in accordance with UK Government guidelines.
