As part of a landmark regeneration project, Muse, the urban regeneration arm of Morgan Sindall, joined forces with Wirral Borough Council to breathe new life into the heart of Birkenhead town centre.
This transformation contributes to the aim of delivering new jobs, high-quality homes, improved public spaces, and sustainable infrastructure across the region.
Our Role Within This Project
At VIS Systems, we are proud to play a pivotal role in supporting the early stages of this ambitious redevelopment by offering a fully sustainable and secure site setup.
With no mains power available and a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, we designed and implemented a complete eco-friendly security and operations package to meet the project’s high ESG standards.
Our team worked closely with site managers to not only secure the perimeter but also ensure that the flow of deliveries could be handled with speed, clarity, and control.
How We Helped Deliver a Safe, Sustainable and Smart Site
To support Muse and the council’s drive towards carbon reduction and smart construction management, we delivered:
- Construction site solar powered CCTV
- Remote monitored CCTV control room
- Construction site time lapse cameras
The key focus for this project centred around delivering a solution that met our clients impressive environmental standards. To meet their company wide carbon goals, on a brand-new site, with no mains electricity, we had to think outside of the box. With speed also a key factor, we recommended a complete eco solution that would keep the site safe, secure and deliver in terms of green credentials.
By deploying our latest solar powered ECO CCTV tower, we were able to deliver a fully monitored HD CCTV solution for the early stages of the Project. The rapidly deployable tower is Smart AI enabled and complete with 360-degree HD coverage, 24/7 colour vision, virtual detection trip wires, live audio, and high speed 4G. The whole scheme was monitored from our dedicated, in-house CCTV control room, backed by an advanced cloud alarm receiving platform and supported by our trained local security response.
After successfully deploying our solar powered ECO CCTV tower we moved on to launching our delivery management system. We catered to the clients needs by adapting our system to their specific needs. The requirements of the job changed a lot so we were constantly adapting our system to help the site deal with a large volume of deliveries on site.
What worked so well in this professional relationship was the speed in which we provided such a specific service. Our cloud-based Delivery management solution is a time saving and cost effective solution to scheduling and managing on-site deliveries.
