What We Did for the Project with GMI Construction Group
Delivering 172 student bedrooms across a mix of studio and cluster apartments, this is a project designed to help meet growing demand for student housing close to the University of Manchester and the Oxford Road Corridor.
The development consists of two interconnected buildings ranging from three to six storeys, alongside shared amenities and landscaped public spaces.

With a huge amount of moving parts on such a large scale site, from contractors to deliveries, having and maintaining a secure and controlled environment is essential.
That being said, our remotely monitored CCTV system helped reduce the risk of trespassing, theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
The incidents could then be identified and escalated quickly when required, pursuing our proactive approach to ensure the site remained secure during and after working hours while supporting GMI’s commitment to maintaining high construction standards throughout the project.
Something else that supported compliance was the utilisation of our time-lapse technology, this allowed for stakeholders to review construction progress at any stage.
This helps site managers track key milestones, verify completed works, and provide project updates with valuable proof.
