Located on Sawley Road, Manchester, the new Orchard House SEND School is a bespoke facility designed for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, brought to life through a partnership between Kier, JM Architects, and Manchester City Council.
At VIS Systems we proudly joined Kier to implement a comprehensive security solution tailored to a school environment, one that demands careful consideration for both safety and sustainable delivery.
The project required protection from site break-ins, oversight of evolving construction zones, and support for a development that will serve local communities.
Our Role in the Project

Thus, in order to meet the dual needs of strong physical security and environmental sensitivity, we deployed the following products:
