At VIS Systems, we have debuted cutting edge technology aimed at enhancing workforce monitoring on construction sites.

With a focus on safety and innovation, this new technology we have created in collaboration with Cloudpass, has introduced a game-changing system.

The cornerstone of this innovation is the new CSCS smart check system. Unlike its predecessors, the CSCS smart check system is not merely an incremental upgrade, it represents a transformation in how workforce management is conducted in the construction sector.

Construction Insight & Launch Date

The launch of the CSCS smart check system announces the phasing out of the old system, GO Smart, scheduled for April 1st 2024; GO Smart was turned off on March 31st 2024, after this date any attempted CSCS card reads via Go Smart will no longer work.

All existing GO Smart users who wish to retain a card checking function as part of site induction or site access solutions should transition to the new CSCS Smart Check system.

This transition will mark a pivotal moment for construction companies, signalling the end of outdated construction time and attendance software, the technology being characterised by accuracy, efficiency and safety.

The CSCS smart check system is ready to address several critical aspects that have long plagued traditional workforce monitoring approaches. Working seamlessly with our plug 'n' play construction site access pod and cloud-based architecture, the system offers unparalleled convenience and efficiency.

This means construction companies can seamlessly integrate the CSCS system into their operations without extensive setup procedures, thereby minimising downtime and maximising productivity.

Construction Time and Attendance Software

Our collaboration with Cloudpass underscores its commitment to being at the forefront of technological innovation.

By harnessing the expertise of Cloudpass as our IT partner, we have been able to develop a robust and forward looking workforce management solution that meets the evolving needs of the construction industry.

One of the standout features of the CSCS system is its ability to validate multiple competencies in the cloud, saving you and your staff from stress and hassle.

By leveraging cloud technology, we can empower construction companies to streamline competency validation to ensure only qualified personnel are sent to particular tasks and can enter certain areas within the sites.

What the CSCS Smart Check System Does

Our VIS Systems access control has an automatic pre-validation check of all 2 million+ cards displaying the CSCS logo, providing you with a quick, easy and secure way of ensuring everyone has the right card for the job they do on your site.

CSCS Smart Check is designed to improve the safety of the construction industry, carry out card checking procedures and help tackle card fraud.

The construction API software will verify a worker’s credentials across multiple trades and skills, so you can rely on the technology.

CSCS Smart Check Features

  • The fastest way of verifying cards
  • Pre-validate and check all 2 million + live CSCS cards across 40+ schemes
  • Now check multiple competencies and restrict access
  • Tackle card fraud
  • Improve health and safety monitoring and compliance
  • Seamlessly integrated with VIS software and construction site access control products

As construction companies across the UK prepare to embrace this groundbreaking system, you should do the same for your construction site and look forward to reaping the benefits.
